MAKYBE is the breeding ground of premier racehorse champions, and the home of three-time Melbourne Cup winner Makybe Diva. Situated in the lush green pastures of Gnarwarre, just west of Geelong in Victoria, this world-class stud farm produces quality bloodstock to race and breed.
Acquired in 2003 by Tony Santic, one of Australia’s most successful tuna fishermen, MAKYBE is named in honour of his three-time champion Melbourne Cup-winning mare Makybe Diva. The paddocks of MAKYBE have proven to be an ideal site for champion thoroughbreds including Starspangledbanner, Amicus, Mr Stunning, Pear Tart and many more.
